“Gesture recognition is one of the most exciting new technologies at the International Consumer Electronics Show this week” says Venture Beat after the closing of the 2008 CES.

Some prestigiuous CE companies are working on it: Panasonic, Hitachi, … and from a different industry perspective, Orange Vallée.

OV is a peculiar initiative  of Orange (110 m mobile subscribers and 7,5 ADSL customers of which 1,5 m use IPTV) which has dedicated a specific subsidiary to innovation in short lead times.
